The Middle East International School (Al Sharq Alawsat) strives to provide a high quality, college preparatory education to students from KG1 to Grade 12. Students are challenged each day to strive toward our mission of “critical thinking, problem solving and creativity to be competitive in the international community.” This applies not only to their academics, but also to their ability to be successful in diverse, multi-cultural environments.

In order to bring students to that level of success, MIS provides a team of world class educators from more than 25 nations, with 45% holding their master’s degree or higher. They are chosen for their expertise in education.  Our educators are lifelong learners and continue to expand their knowledge of their craft in order to serve our students better and meets the Emir’s Vision 2030.

In combination, educators who are lifelong learners and young students learning, forms the core of our theme, “Change is the result of true learning.”

For more than 25 years, graduates from MIS chose to attend world class post-secondary educational institutions. Reflecting on the choices of our graduates, they are going to universities worldwide including:  Canada, USA, Great Britain, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, and many more countries.   It is our pleasure to work hard in order to ensure that a world of opportunities are available to our students.
